Laura is a Long Beach, California, native and has the privilege and pleasure of living on Naples Island, a hidden gem within the City of Long Beach.

Laura is a lover of the sun and sea and her and Tug's lives revolve around all things water related.

Writing this book has been nothing short of a labor of true love for Laura and a testament to how Tug has impacted her life and the lives of all who encounter him.

Laura's love for her beloved pet Tug inspired her to write this heartwarming book.

With the encouragement of her friend Julie and mentor Sheevaun, Laura took on the challenge of crafting a children's book that pays homage to Tug's wonderful personality.
